The Raspberry & Chocolate Blondies in the "Vegan with a Vengeance" cookbook are totally awesome, and pretty easy. I'd love it if someone made them for my birthday!

i made this very late last night....not sure what to call it.
As much of my post bonghit cooking, it was highly improvisational but here is a summation.

First, take about 12 ounces of silken tofu and drop it in the blender. Added 1/4 cup of maple sryup and 2 ounces of gran marnier. Blended till very smooth

Then in a saucepan i added the juice of one orange and one lemon and the rind of the orange. Simmered this and added some kudzu and stirred and simmered till it was very thick and clear. Then added this to the blended tofu mix.

Then back in the sauce pan again, i put the juice of another orange and some agar and stirred till the agar was dissolved. Then added this to the tofu blend. Whipped it all up and poured it into some wine glasses and let it chill until it set.

    Quite tasty!

Kudzu could be replaced with arrowroot powder, right? And, how much agar would you recommend for X amount of liquid? I have a bar/block of it that I try to shred up for things like these, but I don't really know how to improvise with it yet...

i never use arrowroot so i am not sure how much to use but certainly it can be used to replace kudzu. Sorry! start with a small amount as you can always add more if it is not thick enough
I like kudzu as it does not have a chaulky flavor or texture like cornstarch and it is actually very healthy for you. Unfortunately, it is insanely expensive here in the states but i brought a huge bag home from Japan, last year which is starting to get to the end. Have to go back to japan soon for ingredients :)
