OK, so it's really about Thanksgiving (if you live in the US).
Perennially, us cuties ask each other... what are you doing for Tofurkey Day. So I thought I'd go through the threads and see what has come up in years past, and put them together for you all to enjoy... again.
This year Chris and I are going to Mum and Dads, and bringing vegan pumpkin pie, roasted roots, and "tofu surprise". which is what prompted me to check here first... for a tofurkey recipe, /else I'm making japanese tofu skewers with red and white miso.

Thu, November 16, 2006 - 9:26 AMSean and i are going to my parent's house, bringing vegan stuffing... and probably a store-bought tofurkey; we'll make our own gravy there. My parents are awesome, mashed 'taters, apple pie, and the family fave green bean casserole will and have been vegan for years, although we might bring a pumpkin pie anyway.
I've made holiday roasts from other recipes in the past, but this year I'm not willing to deal with cooking and stressing about how everything has to be done, wait for time in the oven, etc. Either it's quick, or made in advance for me; this lets me spend more time drinking beers with my dad over football, or helping with the shared stuff.
