I have been curious about soymilk makers for a while. After pondering over one for a while and doing some research i finally ordered one. It arrived this afternoon. With a half cup of soybeans i made 1.5 liters of soymilk. I then turned that it into fresh tofu. Oh my! This will be an incredibly and simple way to make fresh soymilk and homeade tofu whenever i want or need it. With the okara, i added some chopped walnuts, green onion and grated ginger and made patties which are in the oven as i type and making my loft nicely fragrant.

Re: soymilk maker
11/16Yes, that is where I got mine, too.
I know there are okara recipes in the Farm cookbook also the Book of Tofu.
Usually, I really finely chop or grate a bunch of veggies and mix it in with a little tamari and sesame oil and enough flour to make it stick together. It is great baked or fried and freezes well, too.
