Re: Alternatives to Tofutti pricegouging
Thu, December 29, 2005 - 9:24 AMI haven't looked at Tofutti ingredients lately, but a few years ago, they were REALLY bad, so I think it is a good decision regardless of price. I usually buy Soy Delicious, which is the least expensive (at Trader Joes, where I don't go much it is really cheap). -

Mon, January 9, 2006 - 12:31 PMThey actually have reformulated a lot of their products to make them healthier recently. I know that their cream cheese no longer has hydrogenated oils in it. There are a few other changes, of which I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

Mon, January 9, 2006 - 11:11 AMyes, but a quart of that soy ice cream had about 4 ounces of bakers chocolate in it, it was almost as much chocolate as anything else...no wonder it tasted good.
